Possible Side Effects
RARE
- •Facial and neck redness
- •Itchy rash (hives)
- •Fever
- •Nausea
- •Shock (severe allergic reaction)
- •Skin reactions like redness, itching, swelling, blisters or rash
- •Difficulty breathing, wheezing, chest tightness, shortness of breath or cough
- •Swelling of the face, eyelids, lips, tongue or throat
- •Cold-like symptoms such as stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, red, itchy, swollen or watery eyes
- •Headache
- •Stomach pain
- •Vomiting
- •Diarrhea
Important Warnings
- Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to human albumin or any other ingredient in it.
- Tell your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, fluid in your lungs, bleeding issues, severe anemia, or kidney problems.
- Tell your doctor immediately if you notice any allergic reactions (like rash, swelling, difficulty breathing) or signs of fluid overload (like headache, trouble breathing, swollen neck veins) during the infusion.
- This medicine should not be mixed with other medicines or blood products.
- Although strict measures are taken to prevent infections when making this medicine from human blood, a small risk of transmitting infections cannot be entirely ruled out.
