How to Use

Dosage

Initial phase: Day 1: one 100 RI tablet. Day 2: two 100 RI tablets at the same time. From day 3 onwards: one 300 RI tablet daily. Maintenance phase: one 300 RI tablet daily until the pollen season ends.

Method

Place the tablet under your tongue and let it dissolve completely for at least 1 minute before swallowing. Take the tablet on an empty stomach during the day. Do not eat or drink anything for at least 5 minutes after taking the medicine.

  • Throat problems (dryness, discomfort, pain, blisters or swelling), hoarseness, difficulty swallowing
  • Inflammation of mouth, nose and throat
  • Asthma, difficulty breathing
  • Cough
  • Chest discomfort
  • Heartburn, upset stomach, stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea
  • Persistent skin problems with dryness, redness and itching; hives, itching
RARE
  • Swollen eyes, red eyes, dry eyes
  • Ear infection, dizziness, ear discomfort
  • Mouth or tongue sores, swollen palate, inflamed gums, lips or tongue
  • Swollen salivary glands, excessive salivation
  • Taste changes, burping
  • Feeling of tightness in the throat, numbness in the throat, feeling of foreign body in the throat
  • Wheezing
  • Allergic reaction with swelling of face and throat, hypersensitivity
  • Swollen lymph nodes
  • Rash, acne, cold sores, skin lesions from scratching
  • Depression, fatigue, drowsiness
  • Flu-like illness
  • Swelling in face, redness
  • Anxiety
  • Increased eosinophil count (a type of white blood cell)

Important Warnings

  • Do not take if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine.
  • Do not take if you have severe or unstable asthma, or if your asthma has significantly worsened in the last 3 months.
  • Do not take if you have a disease affecting your immune system, are using immunosuppressant medicines, or have cancer.
  • Do not take if you have mouth sores or infections. Talk to your doctor about delaying treatment.
  • Do not start treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor if you become pregnant during treatment.

  • Stop taking the medicine immediately and contact a doctor if you develop severe allergic symptoms such as swelling of the face, mouth, throat or skin, difficulty swallowing or breathing, voice changes, low blood pressure, or hives.
  • Tell your doctor if you have heart disease or high blood pressure, or if you are taking beta-blockers or certain antidepressants (tricyclic antidepressants, MAO inhibitors, or COMT inhibitors).
  • If you need oral surgery or a tooth extraction, stop treatment until your mouth has fully healed.
  • Tell your doctor if you have an autoimmune disease (a condition where your immune system attacks your own body) or if you have persistent heartburn or difficulty swallowing.
