How to Use

Dosage

One or two 5-gram teaspoons in the evening.

Method

Place the granules on your tongue and swallow them whole with plenty of liquid (about 1-2 glasses), such as water, milk, or juice. Do not chew or crush the granules. Drink 5-10 glasses of fluid daily while taking this medicine.

Important

Maximum of two 5-gram teaspoons per day.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Stomach pain
  • Stomach cramps
  • Feeling sick (nausea)
  • Throwing up (vomiting)
  • Loose stools
  • Feeling bloated
  • Gas
  • Your pee may turn yellow or reddish-brown (this is harmless)
RARE
  • Hives or a similar skin rash (itchy, raised bumps)
  • Itching or redness of the skin
  • Trouble breathing
  • Trouble swallowing
  • A blockage in your throat or bowel
  • A severe blockage of hard, dry stool in your rectum
  • Problems with your body's fluids and salts (if used for a long time)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredients in Agiolax.
  • Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Do not give to children under 12 years old.
  • Do not use if you have sudden stomach pain that you don't know the cause of.
  • Do not use if you have any blockages or narrowing in your gut (esophagus, stomach, intestines).

  • Do not use if you have serious bowel diseases like Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or appendicitis.
  • Do not use if you have trouble swallowing or are very dehydrated.
  • Stop taking Agiolax and call your doctor if you have stomach pain, unusual bowel movements, hard stool stuck in your rectum, or if your constipation doesn't get better in 3 days.
  • Do not use Agiolax for more than 7 days without talking to your doctor. Using it too long can make your gut lazy or make you dependent on laxatives.
  • If you have diabetes, talk to your doctor before using Agiolax because it contains sugar.
  • Take Agiolax at least 1 to 1.5 hours before or after other medicines.
  • Always talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have questions or other health problems, especially kidney problems, or if you are taking other medicines.
