How to Use

Dosage

The usual dose for adults and children over 12 is one inhalation twice a day. Your doctor may adjust this.

Method

The Autohaler automatically releases a dose when you breathe in through the mouthpiece. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully.

Important

Do not exceed the maximum dose prescribed by your doctor. For the 50 mcg strength, this can be up to 16 inhalations daily for adults and 4 for children over 5 years. For the 100 mcg strength, up to 8 inhalations daily for adults and 2 for children over 5 years.

Possible Side Effects

COMMON
  • Sore throat
  • Hoarseness, bad taste in mouth
RARE
  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Cough, worsening of asthma symptoms
  • Nausea
  • Hives, skin redness, purple spots (purpura)
  • Tremor (shaking)
  • Thinning skin, easy bruising
  • Blurred vision
  • Hyperactivity, sleep problems, anxiety, or aggressive behavior (mostly in children)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to beclometasone or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Tell your doctor if you have tuberculosis.
  • Inform your doctor or pharmacist about all other medicines you are taking, as some medicines can affect Aerobec Autohaler.
  • Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless your doctor says it's okay.
  • Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other vision problems.

  • If you experience coughing or shortness of breath immediately after using the inhaler, stop use, take a fast-acting relief inhaler, and seek medical attention at once.
  • If you get severe itching, rash, redness, or swelling of your eyelids, face, lips, or throat after taking a dose, stop using Aerobec Autohaler and seek immediate medical attention.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor tells you to.
