Aerobec is a corticosteroid medication that prevents asthma attacks and eases breathing by reducing inflammation in the lungs.

How to Use

Dosage

For adults, elderly, and children over 12: 1-2 inhalations twice daily. For children over 5: 1-2 inhalations twice daily.

Method

Remove the cap. Breathe out gently, then place the mouthpiece in your mouth and seal your lips around it. Breathe in slowly and deeply while pressing down on the canister to release a dose. Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly. Repeat if more than one dose is prescribed. Replace the cap after use.

Important

Do not exceed the maximum daily dose prescribed by your doctor. For adults, this can be up to 16 inhalations (50 mcg strength) or 8 inhalations (100 mcg strength) per day. For children over 5, the maximum is usually 4 inhalations (50 mcg strength) or 2 inhalations (100 mcg strength) per day.

  • Psychomotor hyperactivity (restlessness, overactivity)
  • Sleep disorders
  • Anxiety
  • Aggressive behavior

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to beclometasone or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Talk to your doctor if you have tuberculosis.
  • Always tell other doctors or dentists that you are using Aerobec.
  • Contact your doctor if you experience blurred vision or other eye problems.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this medicine unless your doctor says it's okay.

  • If you get itching, rash, redness, or swelling of your face/throat after a dose, stop using Aerobec and get medical help right away.
  • If you cough or feel short of breath right after using the inhaler, stop using Aerobec, use your rescue inhaler, and get medical help immediately.
  • Never wash or get the inhaler wet with water.
  • Keep using this medicine regularly, even if you feel well. Do not stop without your doctor's advice.
