How to Use

Dosage

Adults usually receive 1 mg (1 ml) at a time.

Method

It is given as an injection into a vein or bone, repeated every 3 to 5 minutes by a doctor or nurse until your heart starts working again.

Important

This medicine is used in emergencies and given as needed until your heart function returns.

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or if another adrenaline product is available.
  • Continuous medical monitoring is needed after you receive this medicine because it's for life-threatening emergencies.
  • Tell your doctor if you have had an overactive thyroid, severe kidney problems, high calcium levels, low potassium levels, diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure, a brain injury, hardening of brain arteries, glaucoma, prostate disease, are elderly, or are pregnant, as these conditions can increase the risk of side effects.
  • Repeated injections in the same area can cause tissue damage.
