Swallow the tablets with water, exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.

Important

Your doctor will decide the highest dose you can take in one day. Do not take more than this.

  • Kidney problems, kidney pain

Important Warnings

  • Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to aciclovir, valaciclovir, or any other ingredients in the tablet.
  • If you take large doses, remember to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
  • If you use this medicine for a long time or if your immune system is weak, the medicine might not work as well against the virus.
  • Elderly people and those with kidney disease may need a lower dose. Their condition will be watched carefully.
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
