How to Use

Dosage

Take 1 tablet.

Method

Take orally 5 times a day for 5 days.

Important

Do not take more than 5 tablets in a single day.

  • Kidney problems (e.g. unexplained sickness, fatigue, back pain)
  • Mental changes (e.g. unusual excitement, hallucinations, seizures, unconsciousness)
  • Liver inflammation (with or without yellow skin/eyes)

Important Warnings

  • Do not use if you are allergic to aciclovir, valaciclovir, or any other ingredient in this medicine.
  • Contact a doctor if your cold sores are severe, widespread, or worsen.
  • If you have a weakened immune system (e.g., after a bone marrow transplant or if you are HIV-positive), consult a doctor before using this medicine.
  • If you have kidney problems or are elderly, talk to a doctor before using this medicine.
  • Cold sores are contagious. To reduce the risk of spreading, do not let others touch your cold sores or use your towel. If you touch the sores, wash your hands thoroughly before touching other parts of your body, especially your eyes.

  • Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting a doctor.
  • This medicine is for adults over 18 years old for recurring cold sores previously diagnosed by a doctor. Not for use in children or adolescents under 18 without a doctor's prescription.
