How to Use
Dosage
The recommended dose is 1,000 mg (two tablets) once a day.
Method
Take this medicine by mouth. Do not take it with food. Take the tablets once a day on an empty stomach, at least two hours after eating and wait at least one hour before eating again. Swallow the tablets whole with water; do not break them.
Important
The maximum daily dose is 1,000 mg (two tablets).

- •Changes in ECG (QT prolongation)
- •Severe allergic reactions (difficulty swallowing/breathing, swelling of face, lips, tongue, throat, itchy rash)
Important Warnings
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to abiraterone acetate or any other ingredients.
- This medicine is only for men. It can harm an unborn baby, so men having sex with women who can get pregnant must use condoms and other birth control.
- Do not take this medicine with Radium-223 (Ra-223) because it can increase the risk of bone fractures or death.
- Talk to your doctor if you have liver problems, high blood pressure, heart failure, low potassium, or other heart issues.
- Seek medical help if you notice yellow skin/eyes, dark urine, or severe nausea/vomiting, as these could be signs of serious liver problems.
